A Monumental Win for Justice: Anthem Injury Lawyers’ Commitment to Fighting Corporate Overreach

A Victory for all Nevada Residents

Anthem Injury Lawyers is excited to share a major legal win that helps protect individuals’ rights against corporate overreach. On January 27, 2025, the Nevada Supreme Court ruled in favor of Uber Sexual Assault Survivors for Legal Accountability and the Nevada Justice Association in a landmark case against Uber. The Court found that a proposed bill to cap attorney fees at 20% for all injury cases, including those against Uber, was unenforceable due to unclear legal language.

As part of our unwavering dedication to upholding justice, we’re proud to share that Anthem Injury Lawyers has been an Advocate Club level member of Citizens for Justice, a committee of the Nevada Justice Association which supports causes promoting civil justice. This means that we have committed over $100,000 this year to support the fight against Uber and its ongoing attempts to circumvent accountability. Together with Citizens for Justice, Anthem Injury Lawyers is fighting for transparency, fairness, and the protection of consumer rights.

Why This Matters

The legal landscape is constantly evolving, but one thing remains consistent: the need for individuals to have a voice when corporate giants attempt to bypass the law. At Anthem Injury Lawyers, we’ve made it our mission to stand up for what’s right, and this recent win is proof that determination and collaboration with organizations like Citizens for Justice can yield powerful results.

Looking Ahead

This victory is just the beginning. While it serves as an encouraging milestone, there’s still work to be done. Anthem Injury Lawyers will continue to collaborate with Citizens for Justice and other organizations that share our vision of a fairer legal system.
